Preparation and presentation guidance for NEOGSCON 2026

Submission deadline: 31st October 2026

Eligibility

  • Original research work will be preferred.
  • The study should not have been previously published or presented at another conference.
  • Presenting author must be a registered delegate.
  • The presenting author should obtain institutional/ethical approval wherever applicable.

Abstract format

Maximum 250 words, structured as:

  • Title
  • Introduction/Background
  • Aim & Objectives
  • Materials & Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Keywords: 3–5

Presentation format

  • 6 minutes presentation
  • 2 minutes discussion/Q&A
  • PowerPoint format
  • 16:9 widescreen
  • Recommended: 8–10 slides
  • Avoid overcrowded slides and excessive animation.

Suggested slide sequence

  1. Title & authors
  2. Background
  3. Research question/Aim
  4. Methodology
  5. Study population/sample size
  6. Results – tables/graphs
  7. Key findings
  8. Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. Take-home message

Important points

  • Present actual results, not only methodology or proposed outcomes.
  • Use graphs and tables rather than large blocks of text.
  • Mention p-value/confidence interval where relevant.
  • Declare conflict of interest/funding.
  • Patient-identifying information must not be displayed.
  • Keep 1–2 minutes for discussion and strictly adhere to the allotted time.
